Injustice: Gods Among Us Weekly Matchups Promotion Announced

To prepare gamers for the upcoming release of Injustice: Gods Among Us Warner Brothers Interactive has announced a weekly match up promotion that will pit the roster of characters from the game against one another, the victor decided by fan vote.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is an upcoming fighting game from Netherrealm Studios that will pit some of DC Comics’ most iconic characters against one another in brutal one-on-one combat. Heavy hitters like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman have all made the cut for the next ten weeks fans will be able to decide who wins one-on-one match ups in a new promotion.

Each week a new match up will be announced via a video with “the skills, attributes and technology of the week’s competing DC Comics warriors” as well as “man-on-the-street and celebrity experts explaining which character in the battle has earned their vote.” Fans will then have until Thursday to vote for their favorite at injustice.dccomics.com.

Not sure. The way I interpret it, is the first video will be of the stats, predictions, and research on the characters, then we get to vote until Thursday, and that's when the fight video is shown? Or we could get the fight video right away, and the voting is just to see who we think would win...not sure.

I wonder if this will be in the same vain in the story trailers for MK, just without the story artwork and narration in it.

That's the matchup i'd put Batman and Superman in.

Looks like it's going to be Batman and Bane instead. The video lists "Batm..." in the title that's being cut off, so it features Batman for sure, and I am thinking Bane because they said we would be getting footage of a character we haven't seen footage of before. Batman vs. Bane was one of the examples Hector gave. So it makes sense.

I guess the video was supposed to be public by now:

If you mean that little snapshot, it was from someone on TYM. But they didn't elaborate on what it is, they just posted it in a thread on the same topic. It looks like Bane and Catwoman, so that may be the fight that's up tomorrow. Though it says "Batm..." in the title, so I figured Batman was in it. The pic shows otherwise though.
