Considering it unlocks alts for the console version, it seems Harley has an AC Alt and batman has a Batman Beyond alt in the IoS. That makes it a possibility that these alts can be unlocked in the console version



Harley's Arkham City avatar pic on the left side and Batman Beyond avatar pic on the right. It seems that the Avatars are for what the character is wearing, as Lex Luthor has his alt avatar pic and is wearing the outfit.

How do I sign in? It told me my user name was already taken and now no matter what I enter I can't exit the screen.

I have a bit of an update for everyone. I finally managed to log into the iOS game with a WBID and it turns out there are cross unlocks between the iOS version of the game and the console version. Of note you can unlock Arkham Harley in the console version by collecting a joker card in the iOS version and a Batman beyond skin for batman in the console version by obtaining batman in the iOS version. There is also a Bane knight fall skin that is unlock able on the console version as well.

Ok I managed to finally login to WBID with a new email. I have a few things unlocked at the moment: Bane Knightfall, Bane Background, Wonderwoman icon, Superman icon.

There are some very interesting unlockables:

Batman Beyond, Arkham Harley, New 52 Green Lantern, Solomon Grundy background, Superman's cape background, Bars of gold background, and Killer Frost background. I'm assuming the backgrounds are not actual backgrounds but maybe themes?

Anyway, I am wondering how this app ties in with the console version, maybe the console games will have a WBID section that you can login and that's the only logical way I see it working. I tried to go to the website after I unlocked a couple things and there is no way to redeem codes or things like that.

My other concern is that I'll be getting both console versions, so I hope I am not entitled to unlock for only 1 console version and not the other. But I have a backup plan for that lol.

I'm thinking it will work very similarly to EA's Origin.

Has anyone figured out any tactics for dealing with the Joker or Nightwing at higher difficulties? Both are giving me a hard time.

I did the same thing. I'm debating spending another $20 to get batman and to help me power through the rest of the game. I hit a brick wall really bad.

You can earn coins just by playing. No reason to spend money just to get them all right away. That's no fun. The game is actually quite enjoyable.

I'm 11 battle towers in and haven't even spent a penny. Harley's outfit isn't even the tough one to get, you just gotta get 45,000 and buy the Joker. You can do that in a couple of days. Batman's...now that's a bit tougher. As well as the secret one. That'll take a couple of weeks. Plenty to keep me occupied til the game comes out.

Well I bought the starter pack for some additional characters from the beginning, and the cash was buy some support upgrades. Currently I'm about halfway through all the battles and have literally hit a brick wall. I'm noticing that characters are weak against certain other characters and i haven't figured out which ones yet. Joker and Nightwing are giving me some serious problems on the later rankings.

The Batman skin won't be hard to unlock actually. You don't even need to purchase batman to unlock him. I've noticed after you complete each section of the Battle Select page, a Bonus Battle opens up, and once you clear the Bonus Battle, the character that is portrayed in the previous battle's icon is actually unlocked. This has held true for both Green Lantern and Sinestro. I'm currently on the Doomsday battle myself, but am stuck for the reason i listed above. Batman is on the 4th page.

There's nothing saying these skins won't be available to unlock in the full game another way. I doubt there's skins that you can only get through the mobile game. That would mean people without an iphone/ipad, won't be able to get them. That's unlikely.

Regardless. I am getting the impression the game is designed to basically bait you into spending money to progress. Which if that ends up being the case, meh. It's an awesome game though. I just don't like the energy recharge thing holding me back from progressing. I fight the packs of 3 that have a character that's double your strength/health. So it gets tough. But yeah, it's fun and addicting for sure.

Flash is an absolute brute. I can take out whole teams just using him. Use a couple of tier 1 specials and he becomes almost too fast for anyone to hit him

Beat the first encounter with Bane on my 4th attempt. That fight was stupid.

Curiosity: what characters did everyone start with?

I got both Harley and doomsday in a booster pack, so my team has been Harley, lex and doomsday mostly. Both Harley and lex offer a team damage bonus which has been helpful for the most part. Harley has some of the strongest special moves I've come across and doomsday in a good sponge to for stronger opponents. I have all 3 characters over level 20. It's just some characters seems o have a weakness to certain other characters. I'm currently grinding trying to level up both joker and flash. The joker looks like he has some good stats that might even rival doomsday.

The characters I started off with were Sinestro, Lex, and Grundy. Since none of those guys are terribly iconic, I though that my initial roster was randomly selected. Did anyone else start off with these guys?

Anyhoo, I'm tearing shit up with Sinestro. I also got New 52 Green Lantern just for signing into my WBID, so yay for that.

I believe the initial characters I start with where lex, sinestro, cyborg and nightwing. I can't recall, but they where the very earliest characters I had unlocked before buying the starter pack. I actually just recently unlock Grundy.
[edit]: I have a dozen characters unlocked so far: sinestro, Harley, lex, nightwing, cyborg, joker, doomsday, flash, green lantern, Catwoman, deathstroke and Grundy. I've been maining Harley Lex and Doomsday like I said earlier. All 3 are over level 20, while everyone else is around level 10 or less.

I think it's random to a degree.

I started off with Green Lantern, The Flash, and Deathstroke.

My brother started off with Cyborg, Sinestro, and Green Lantern.
