Lets talk about Zod, is he the one in Fortress of Soltitude mirror?

Saw this posted on GameFaqs, and with all the rumor speculation around Zod going around, it seems as if this is General Zod in the mirror image:



He has the goatee to match, the red eyes seem to represent an evil power. In the comics, Zod is imprisoned in the Phantom Zone (the transition in Fortress of Soltitude) on Krypton. Only thing that seems to be off is the skin is made of some kind of metal (something like Colossus), and he has some kind of skin tight helmet on his head.

What do you guys think?

Its too similar to Lobo's face to be an entirely differently character.

Could be another Czarnian (if thats how you spell it)

I know Lobes was supposed to kill all his Race but maybe before he did that one was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone?

Probably giving it too much thought but maybe they just wanted to put a Czarnian in there as an early hint to Lobo or to represent more species from the DC universe. Also, Zod would be powerless in the zone, so the red eyes wouldn't make sense.

Yeah I remember seeing this a while back, and somebody said this was Lobo, so I guess this could be an early look at him.

It is Zod. They probly made him look paler than usual to give him a "phantom" feel, since he is after all in the Phantom Zone. The red eyes are just from being an angry kryptonian. As for the headgear, i think it is just a shadow and his trademark receding hairline.

He seems to have studs in his face as well..

I'm going to guess its someone off the same race as Lobo...put in there with the white martian etc to give an idea of the scale of baddies locked up in the Phantom Zone.

Yeah in hindsight it's probably Zod but at the time I thought it was someone Loboish.

Guys I just found out something that may just be stupid but...If you go to the archives and unlock superman's concept art and go to pic 12 of 36 I think that this could be Zod. Now I know that this is a superman concept art BUT he looks very much like the guy in the phantom zone...could this be our first look at Zod?
