nothing really new, except few glimpses of arkham stage and a new way of triggering the stage transition in the metropolis stage...
the Joker glimpse was the same halloween pic glimpse (could be his entrance)

and I liked this video. New footage is always nice. I'm definitely hyped for this game

Cruel video. The Joker "sneak peak" wasn't that special IMO considering we already know what he's going to look like but the laugh on the other hand was good to hear – voice-acted by Mark Hamill, huh? The video was published by PlayStation, suggesting that the PS3 players might once again get some special treatment. I found the @1:30 quite interesting:
I think it's just one of the many residents in the Phantom Zone which is a prison dimension featured in ALOT of Superman comics and it also makes a cameo in MK vs. DCU.

Thanks to MINION for taking my Siginity!
^^^^wow, awesome sig Zmoke
Why thank you. I will say though that this specific art isn't of my efforts thus this signature will unfortunately only work as a placeholder "temporarily". My signature has always worked as a link to great music coevally BTW.
@ Zmoke: I think those are just random baddies who are stuck in the Phantom Zone. You can see Catwoman breaking the mirror that has trapped the creature that breaks free and assaults her. So nothing major, just some flavor I reckon.
You know what, I titled the above image as "Jax-Ur" because he does look like him distantly. I wasn't completely sure however seeing he's got that demonic, spiky skin. The Phantom Zone will probably tie in with the story.

"Real" background characters, like Shao Kahn, have never jeopardized the fight in Mortal Kombat so these are probably mere henchmen. However I'd like to believe that somebody will be there to represent 'em. General Zod?!

Well this game isn't MK so background things (cars, street lights) and people (Phantom Zone Inmates or General Zod) can now jeopardized fights so.... yeah

By "real" I meant characters that are playable in the game – they generally merely laugh or just watch the fight – but I just remembered that there's one exception which is Mortal Kombat: Deception's equivalent of a prison.
What? Are you telling me that this in fact isn't Mortal Kombat?

Yes, that is the point I was trying to get across that this isn't the first time that background characters in arenas will grab or attack you just like the Dark Prison in Mortal Kombat: Deception, you see I wasn't trying to start a fight with you, I was only saying that the Phantom Zone guy is attacking you like everybody did in the Dark Prison, you know?
P.S.
Yes, I'm telling you that this is in fact NOT a brand new Mortal Kombat game
