so robin is not in thats a good thing since we already have enough bat characters

I don't mind the number of Bat characters, but that should not be the reason for certain character to be part of the game or not. No, Robin shouldn't be in it because we already have Nightwing. I mean, if they add Robin, then they could just as well add Red Robin and Red Hood. They could even throw in Batgirl, that would make Batman's little group of sidekicks complete. Nah, just let them stick with Nightwing, that should satisfy the Robin fans out there as well. Who knows, Dick's alt costume could very well be the Robin one.

I believe you misread his post. All that was confirmed is that there would be a new info video in January. The part about Robin was just the poster's opinion, and he was using Robin as an example because with MK vs DC he was in the comic and not the actual game.

Whatever characters are included will be for a reason, to serve a purpose in the story being told, so i'm cool with however many "Bat" characters they want to include. Nowhere does it say this is supposed to be a wide array of DC's characters, it just features the characters from the DC Universe. All Batman related characters are in the DC Universe, so they deserve their spot if they feel the desire to use them. Each character they have included is a well established character in their own right, and any "Bat" character included thus far, has had their own comic series centered around them(Harley, Nightwing, Catwoman) or are major players in the DCU(Joker). Now when they bring in Nora Freis, Clock King, Martha Wayne, and Alfred as playable fleshed out characters, THEN you may have some substance to the complaints.
