Sorry if this has been explained at some point, but I am still curious as to why Injustice didn't make it into EVO this year. Was it because it didn't have enough applicants, or it released to late in the year?

I'm not entirely sure, but I thought I read it didn't make the regular rotation because it was released so late and the promoters felt it wasn't enough time to learn the game and have show worthy matches for the tournament.
