Yeah, Bane and Shazam got some minor buffs as well so I'm really happy. I'm also glad that Sinestro's trait got a buff.

I don't think Deathstroke needed such a big hit. Just the chip nerf would have been fine. His hit stun didn't need to be bopped .

Bane and Lobo buffs that make them usable! That alongside Cyborg's block infinite being nerfed and making Deathstroke actually have to use his power. It seems like this game is getting a lot more balanced. Still, Joker's parry needs more active frames and Lex could also use a small buff.

what's the point of being unable to get out of a grab during a stance switch? I'm not a fighting game aficionado,so i don't know what that does.

I'm not clear why Deathstroke got hit so hard while Black Adam went untouched. I don't even think Deathstroke is that bad these days.

Overall, Sinestro and Raven are the only changes that make sense to me. Shazam got buffs, but none of them really addressed his problems (except the upgraded wake-up teleport; thank you NRS). Safety was never his issue (and his stuff is still not safe; it can be blown up with D+1s). What he needed was less start-up and bigger hitboxes.

I'll just hold my peace on Aquaman because ultimately, I'm glad he got any nerfs at all. I would have gone after his zoning instead of his pressure, but it's better than nothing.

So happy about Sinestro. The funny thing? He didn't even need it. No one realizes how good this character actually is. smile

Totally agree with this.

Also I don't know how to feel about Grundy's nerf. I almost always combo'd into his grab chain anyway so people would clash me before i started it and I was often still able to get back in and hold my own. However that said, it does kinda worry me that zoners can now get out of my chain grab that makes it so I take less chip which is imo essential to activate against zoners that dominate Grundy like Cyborg and Superman and pretty much any other character with a good air projectile. Also Grundy is a character that has to use meter to get in and needs meter to do big damage, so Grundy will almost always lose the clash and be sent back full screen as well as lose the damage he had to spend meter (in most cases) to get.

Also I'm really disappointed Superman didn't get nerfed more especially compared to other characters that did get nerfed quite a bit but are not nearly as good as Superman. He has every tool a character could possibly need and many of those tools are the best of their kind. I mean at the very least they could tone down his supermove a little with its retardedly fast start up that he absolutely does not need.

I think they should leave Superman alone and focus on bringing every other character to his level.

Can't say I'm disappointed with the patch, Bane and Shazam buffs while certainly not the best, are very good. Now Bane can abuse longer venom with lv.2 and Shazam got a free out of jail wake up.

Wow. I was already kicking some butt with Bane. This is an extremely big buff IMHO. He's receiving some serious love from NRS lately. Exciting.

I'm still not sure how much the buffs joker received have helped him. I didn't get to spend much time playing today so I'll have to what and see but I feel like his gas cans are still useless as well as his trait.

The only thing they should change about Supes is his super, cuz it freezes time for the opponent. So if you even just take a step forward, you're screwed.

Joker buffs are great. He needs some more though.

For Black Adam, I wouldn't mind if they made his divekick unsafe. It would make a lot of people feel better about fighting him and I wouldn't mind the unsafeness really. Hate scrubs who abuse it online.

Arrow didn't need nerfs, as Deathstroke didn't either. He was completely fine the way he was, only got nerfed because online scrubs can't take the time out of their day to learn how to fight him.

If by 31% you mean 38%. And with trait its an easy 44%, which like I said above is just under half your health. Damage however is not the main concern, the speed of his super is. It is the fastest punish in the game and covers the most distance and belongs to a character that absolutely does not need it because he already has every other tool in the game. Nobody is arguing that supers are a big part of "proper" play.

You are completely missing the point.

I agree Superman has a super Super.

I am saying it does not matter because people will be using his meter for other things, the main one being MB breath in combos.

Literally the only person who will use this super against you is some terrible noob who will throw it out as a last resort.
