Boon said in one of his interviews they will be unveiling mote stuff as the events progress. I hope that at comic con they reveal 3 new characters.
They better not troll though and just say
Joker
Green lantern
Lex luthor

I want to maybe one that was expected. One that could have been up in the air and one surprise character. So my choice for comic con woul be

Green Lantern
Deathstroke
Atrocitus

What do you guys think? What do u want to see unveiled at the upcoming events?

They shouldn't reveal all the characters that have been hinted or otherwise expected at the same time but regulate them all the way to 2013.

I think that Aquaman and Poison Ivy should be revealed together, being the most-wanted elemental-characters; along with the Atlantis Stage and Poison Ivy's Botanical Gardens Stage, both with some really unique background interactions.

They need to reveal at maximum two characters. One well-known and requested by fans, and another not so well-known that lets us know the type of variety we should expect in the roster.

to be honest they're probably going to reveal the certs first.

and reveal the more suprising editions later.

I'm certain they will do Aquaman, and I can't wait to find out what they're gonna do with him.

I know this is somewhat doubtful yet who knows with Boon/NRS, but I keep noticing in almost each recent interview, they've said something 2 or 3 times now about different mirrors in the background that are interactible, that makes me think that Mirror Master could be fixing to be revealed as an odd reveal. One of the mirrors is from exactly where Mirror Master is contained: Phantom Zone through a mirror from Fortress of Solitude. He's one unique character, and I don't think any fighting game has ever had a mirror/reflection-manipulator.

For the next reveals it will probably be the ice-kharacter, Lex Luthor, Joker, and/or if this is a hint in someway Mirror Master which I hope it is.

I'm hoping for just 2 characters revealed(still have a ways to go, so don't reveal too much yet). I think being at Comic-Con is a perfect time to reveal at least 1 character that the more hardcore comic fans would eat up, so make It Martian Manhunter or someone who hasn't really been given their due in games, that other audiences may not appreciate as much(play to your audience). The second reveal should be someone well known and popular to really get them excited. Someone like the Joker or Green Lantern etc. However, I think the best way to go would be to announce Bane or Catwoman, to play up on the hype of the upcoming movie. To which if I had to pick, I would go with Bane since we haven't seen him in a fighting game(wasn't in the old Justice League fighting game or MK vs DCU), and he's the main villain tn the upcoming film.

Stick with that formula and they should get a great response, and build up positive hype for the game. Maybe tease the story a little too, as comic book fans are going to be the most enthusiastic about the story aspect.

Basically he was a member of a secret city in Africa whose inhabitants were thousands of super intelligent gorillas. Grodd attempted to overthrow the ruler of the city, King Solovar, but he was swiftly stopped. In his rage he had performed science experiments that gave him mental powers, such as mind control (certain bits of cannon say this is due a technologically advanced helmet he built, while others allude to his mental powers without need of the helmet). His most common motivation is to channel his frustration by turning every one on the planet into an ape, though better interpretations have presented themselves. He is mostly a Flash villain.

His powers are brute strength, super intelligence, and mental powers such as mind control.

Mind control could be very interesting if implemented into gameplay.

One will be either: Lex Luthor, Captain Cold, Green Lantern, or Joker. The second character will be an odd, not expected character or B-list character.

Aquaman will be the LAST reveal watch, just to tease us and make us think he won't make the cut after what happened in MKvsDCU, lol.

Well they're probably going to add someone that utilizes guns alot (stryker style) and if they do then i nominate red hood,or two face. But i realy want to see bane in the story, and handled like he has some actual intelligence, you can make look him like a "mindless brute" in fights, but make him intelligent in the story. grin

Guns/Knives should only be used by Deathstroke and Lobo, well including Harley Quinn and Solomon Grundy already included, I really don't think they should go the MvC3 route and waste roster space, those are usually the left-over characters that get forgotten about quickly or the over-abused ones that are kinda boring.

Only deathstroke and lobo? You seroiusly wouldn't want to play a Red Hood v Batman match?? If not then you're just plain crazy. But if not to "waste roster space" then just add him as dlc.Or would that be "wasting dlc space".I bet your one of the few that doesn't want to see nightwing make the roster huh? Or bane? Or joker? Or anyone else that could make the story interesting for the bats chapter(s).And yes they can be make multiple gun users unique, this is post mk9 NRS not MKvsDCU Midway chicago. THEY GOT THIS!

Why aren't they marketing the game at all ? Granted, MK9's marketing was bad, but this one's is dead. It just feels as if the game got canceled.

IMO, Red Hood, lol, compared to Joker, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, or Nightwing's inclusion, YAWN, I'd rather just pick Joker twice!!!

IMO, he's a complete waist of roster space; practically a simplified Joker clone with bat-like gadgets "that can fight different, honest" ahh NO!!! Not being mean but that's not a wise choice when pitted against the BEST-KNOWN DC characters.

I somewhat doubt more than four Bat-related characters.

Batman
Harley Quinn
Joker
Catwoman

See?

More will be DLC, like Bane or possibly Nightwing.

Ok well would i choose nightwing over red hood? Yeah, honestly i would. But there could be an argument that nightwing would be a batclone. But i think that NRS can make them different.Look at characters in MK9 that have similar abilities/moves/powers, that's my reason i think NetherRealm Studios CAN make the unique. But that's just me. furious tongue

Well, Nightwing apparently has caught Boon's eye, plus he was along with Lobo, Aquaman, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Doomsday, and Black Canary one of the most requested characters that didn't make the roster for MKvsDCU. I have nothing really against Red Hood at all, but it's kinda a bit late to request him now, especially since Boon's tweeting about Nightwing's inclusion. I actually do expect both Joker/Catwoman, yet I doubt Bane will make the regular roster, maybe as DLC cause he definitely has a lot of fans wanting to see him inject venom to become super-aggressive with that special button-feature I keep hearing, yet again might be a bit late, Killer Croc vs Reptile was one of the MOST requested fights for MKvsDC that barely missed the roster and possibly was started but never finished. I still think there's better Bat-choices though, not just character-wise but stage-wise as well. I really think that Poison Ivy, Joker, Catwoman, Killer Croc, and Nightwing have a lot more potential, and covers completely different use of background interactions taking the game a little further to yet another whole new level. I see Nightwing using the electric escrima sticks he had in Arkham City, it fit him very well; maybe even the tranquilizer darts too.
