So there has been some discussion I guess amongst top level tournament players (tom brady, reo, etc) about banning Scorpion because he's broken. They are threatening to drop the game in droves if scorpion isn't banned.

I wanted to get feedback and MKO's take on the topic?


Personally I think they are just whining and the whole topic is overblown. Given I rarely play online, and I honestly haven't played as Scorpion much. But it just seems that their main gripe is that while you can deal with Scorpion's meter burn TP (which is their main reason why he's broken), he can not be punished for it. There are bad match ups all over the game, and to single Scorpion out because only 1 or 2 characters can actually deal with him seems to be a joke IMO.

Their argument is that they they where hired as play testers on the game back in February, and now that they are giving feedback that Scorpion is broken and NRS and tournament organizers aren't listening to them that Scorpion is broken, so they're threatening to drop the game entirely.

So what's everyone's take on the subject?
