I have nothing against THE BIG RED CHEESE. I appreciate the character and think Billy is a great superhero. I think more or less the hype isn't as big for him this game (on this site anyway) is highly due to him appearing in MKvsDCU and giving those not as educated on the character a clear understanding of him. Granted the "RAGE" thing probably gave off some weird Aura to those not familiar. They at least got a clear vision of the character and how he's portrayed. I admit though, I would of loved to see some of the Billy Batson character portrayed in the game. However, I understand that the way the story was based and set it wasn't required.

If he does make it into this game, for his fans sake. I hope it's explained and put into detail a little more for those fans returning from MKvsDCU still curious on his background. I know the Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam gave you a ton of background on the whole given powers of SHAZAM and what not. But felt it was a bit rushed. I would of loved more progression and time to develop the mastery over his power. One of the things I loved about the Spiderman movies was how Peter got his power and then learned how to use it/evolve through mastery of his gift.

If they ever do a movie for him, I really think In terms of Superheroes. His would be one of the more Interesting just based on the whole SHAZAM / Black Adam thing alone. The story for Cap reminds me a lot of How Cap America and Red Skull are. Same with GL and Sinestro.

But in all fairness, I have a great deal of respect for any and all characters in comics. Every character who's been around long enough deserves continuity and development. Cap Marvel is definitely no exception.

Well, for a victory pose I definately want him to turn back into Billy Batson. Maybe call the unconcious a punk and swagger off. It seems like the perfect way to end the match as Captain Marvel.

For moves, I say they all have to relate back to S.H.A.Z.A.M.


Solomon - Wisdom - I'd say a retreat move

Hercules - Strength - I'd say a throw/slam

Atlas - Stamina - A minor health regen, like Shang Tsung's soul steal, minus damage to the opponent.

Zeus - Power - Good excuse for a lightning projectile.

Achilles - Courage - A one time power up.

Mercury - Speed - A charge, perhaps a charge attack.

If Im honest I wasnt farmiliar with the character until MKvsDC but I liked him, I also really enjoyed the Superman/Shazam Animated short.

I hope he makes it and I want to see Black Adam because he just reeks cool to me!
