I'm going through all the battle modes, and so far I haven't had much trouble with any of them (even Impossible) until now. I've tried The Max 3 times with my 3 best characters and I get raped by the very first character on the ladder while barely getting one hit off. Does anyone have any tips for a pretty safe technique I can use to beat this one? I remember in MKvsDC you could easily beat the game on the highest difficulty by spamming Darkseid's eye beam. I'm not above being cheap as hell to get this one lol. I'm afraid this alone may keep me from getting the Platinum Trophy for this game. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I cant really offer any help because I have no idea how to exploit this battle, but if you do manage to beat it, PLEASE confirm if you get anything for completing it (I heard you get new 52 green arrow costume for beating that battle but nobodys been able to prove it)

I gave up after a few tries for the same reason.

I notice on the leaderboards that the top players who have beaten it (if its legit, not sure if they hacked it) used the flash. I'm thinking spam his torpedo move.

Other than that the strategy guide recommends using lengthy combos to juggle the ai as much as possible.

It's damn near impossible. It reads every move, so you basically have to exploit the AI in every way lol

Last night I ended up beating the very first opponent (Harley Quinn) on The Max by spamming Superman's Air Heat Vision. Got owned in the second fight.
Did it again and couldn't even beat Harley Quinn the second time. FML.

Damn. This will seriously be the thing to stop me from achieving a Platinum Trophy if it's that hard. Can't say I look forward to playing this mode.

The AI tends to let batman's bats hit. Which can be turned into a full combo. I've gotten to level 3.... :(
