1. Bigger roster than MK9

Mortal Kombat 9 had 27 initial characters. Since that was limited to the original roster (and Quan Chi) this should be loaded with characters, up to 38. The amount of heroes and villians should be equal.
For every hero there is, atleast one of their villains should be included aswell.

2. Alternate CostumesThe designs for the characters are very cool, but there shoud definetly be some alternate costumes. Every character should have their first appearance suit for an alternate. Suprisingly, some of them have distinctive features that differs from their classic, well known looks like Superman or Batman, Green Lantern, The Flash

Speaking of classics, they'd need their classic designs aswell. Maybe their movie versions too if they have one.

3. The Super Moves have to feel like an event!

The Super Moves should look and feel like they have done some serious damage. It gives the characters an "I'm not fucking around!" feel to them.

4. More DLC

MK9 had 5 DLC releases. A costume pack and 4 characters. This should have more DLC characters, costumes and some stages. All DLC characters should have some dialouge too.

What else would make this game awesome?

From what I've seen and heard the gameplay looks unique and fun but I have some technical concerns from MK9 that they need to fix.

1. 2D hitboxes. There was a lot of goofiness in MK9 that could have been avoided if this was implemented.

2. No more random priority. Either come up with a better system or add hit trades.

3. Fix the input bug.

Here is something WB can't do , better marketing. MK9 sold well using its name and below average WB's marketing. This is a new franchise it needs more legs and while Ed is doing a fine job as he always does in building enthusiasm for his games, WB needs to get closer to the fans of MK/Sites and start building a fanbase.

Also, the team should save some of th non hardcore features for a non hardcore game or mode. The game can use two modes, one is thrown for tournament players (the minority yet the most bitching) and the casuals where all the crazy stuff happen.

For this to turn into a franchise, the team needs to be creative in creating signature moves. They need to make the game memorable for introducing new things. The Get Over here is a huge example, they need to bring hitters just like that. None of the DC's character had extraordinary moves in MKDC.

Poison Ivy and Zatanna!!!

I'm a bit worried for the magical DCU characters as to whether NRS can implement them into this game, otherwise; BORING!!!

As far as a big roster with the heros and their counterparts, to have that would be needed for good story writing. I'm not sure what they are going to do as far as a story mode in this game, but having at least ONE villian to every hero is most likely a needed for a decent story.

I also agree upon the alternate and classic costumes. I think that is gonna be a big part since the DC Universe has seen an array of costumes for one character over the years.

I'd love to see a conquest mode for this game. I think it could be done well. Maybe even a create-a-character. However, I dont forsee those being in there.

to be awesome this game needs.
1) balanced gameplay
2) improved hitboxes
3) no gimmicks
4) a limited but decent roster. I'd stick qith 27-29 characters, imo.
5) few DLC. DLC are a fraud.
