It's not so much people hating on Zod... it's them hating he's possibly going to be in the game when Superman/Evil Superman is already there.

It's easier to make GL and Sinestro a bit different from one another because their constructs would be completely different and out of their own imaginations. And as far as I know... Nighwing and Catwoman were never alike in a fight. So I'm not exactly clear on what point you were trying to illustrate with those two.

A Kryptonian's powers consist more or less of the following:

Super Strength
Invulnerability
Super Speed
Flight
Heat/Xray vision
Freeze Breath
Super Breath

Now how very different could you make two individuals based on them having those powers (besides the whole using them for good or evil thing)? How different can you make...say... Heat Vision? Super Strengh and Flight don't really have another way to work. You see the difference?

The Lantern Rings can be used very differently depending on the user who is willing them. Specific locked super powers? Not so much.

To be honest and fair. I like General Zod. However, he was not apart of the actual Injustice comic, nor was he the reason behind Superman going mad from Jokers cruel intentions. Having Zod would trigger a "double insanity protagonist" type role.

For example, Injustice as a whole and superman's anger is based around Joker torturing superman by having him Kill Lois. This game's story as whole is centered around Joker and Superman.

Not saying Zod isn't welcome. Just has no real impact on the game or cast when everything that's been given to us from joker and regime superman has unfolded. Having Zod would be meaningless due to superman already reaching Insanity and Zod having no real impact on the story.

Zod has always been Obsessed with Superman and Krypton none of which have any relevance in this game. That's why I'm not "Excited" if he arrives. But if he does, then that's that.

Even though MM was not apart of the story, he was used in polls, tweets, and backdrop in the JLWT stage. Thus makes him more welcome.

The reason Lobo is welcome, he's been hinted at and he was in an Injustice ending from what I remember.

Black Canary too, Green Arrow nods at her when he looks at her pic in the story mode. She is also welcomed imho.

Skarlet, Rain, Kenshi, and Freddy played no part in Mortal Kombat either so apparently this will be the course NRS will take with DLC if the rumors prove true.

I don't think anyone hates Zod or any of the other DLC characters. Their just coming out of left field.

It's not that I hate Zod, it's that highly requested characters are being pushed aside for characters nobody asked for.

I like Zod alot and can't wait for Man of Steel plus my brother kind of looks like Zod lol but all of this hate is coming from people who haven't realized that their character didn't make the cut I know how it feels to have a character that you truly really want in but they ends up being a background character or not in at all. I would have given everything I own to have Gorilla Grodd be playable in this game or have Firestorm be playable but they both aren't.

I think we all need to think about it DLC like this, WB is releasing what they hope is the top grossing film of this year with Man of Steel and co-promoting with Injustice might bring a few more to seeing the film if Zod is in the game. Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy is the hottest thing going today and people are eating it up like there is no tomorrow so WB is trying to cash in more on that with Batgirl being in this game. We all should have known that NRS would do something like this, putting a MK character into Injustice, I even said before that if they added a MK character to Injustice it would be one of these three Scorpion, Sub-Zero or Shao Kahn and does it really shock you guys that NRS would make Scorpion DLC?

I know it sucks ass to have your characters not make it but don't get me wrong I would have loved to have Martian Manhunter, Gorilla Grodd, Doctor Fate, Blue Beetle, Power Girl, Swamp Thing, Black Canary and Zatanna playable but they all could be playable in Injustice 2 because let's face it this game is going to sell because we all know that it broken records for pre- orders.

If I'm wrong about this I'll fucking eat crow and my left foot lol but until then I'm sticking to my guns on this one and still believing that Zod, Batgirl and Scorpion are going to join Lobo as DLC.

There was also somebody that pointed out that a few months into the game it was confirmed that Captain Cold, Power Girl, Martian Manhunter and Professor Zoom were in the game, so let's break that down and checking them off:

1. Captain Cold - He was seen in the comic book, Issue 7 if I'm correct.

2. Power Girl - DLC characters are getting Star Lab missions from what Hector said so maybe she's a NPC in Star Labs just like Killer Croc, Trogon and Two-Face was.

3. Martian Manhunter - He's a background character in the Watchtower.

4. Professor Zoom - We're getting DLC skins right, so what he's a skin for The Flash?

Definitely this. It just makes no sense to ask the fans what they want and just flat out ignore the results to put in characters that no one even thought were on the table.

If you want people's money... don't you think you'd have an easier time getting it from them if you gave them what they wanted?

Forget about people's opinions on the characters.... the bottom line of this, if this turns out to be true, is that it's simply a bad move business wise.

I like Zod but I don't want him as DLC in this game, Simply because there are multiple other characters I would have before him Manhunter, Black Canary, Doctor Fate, Zantana.

Also The lantern powers are super diverse given that they are based of the users imagination. You could probably have a Lantern fighting game lol.
