I'm always a big fan of competitions like the Oscars or the Emmies or, heck, even the video game awards that every magazine throws out each year. What I really like, though, are the awards that you don't think of, the ones that you don't take seriously. Well, on that note, I'm curious to see if anyone else has some "notorious" awards that they'd like to nominate and give to the MK universe. For example, here are a few of mine...

1. Worst Port - Mortal Kombat Advance

4. Worst "Clone" character - Jarek (MK4)
honorable mention - Kira
5. Best "Clone" character - Human Smoke
honorable mention - Frost (admit it, she's a female Sub-Zero...)
6. Best Unanswered Question - Is Smoke a human or robot now?
honorable mention - What exactly HAPPENED in MK:Armageddon?
7. Biggest MK extras disappointment - No more MK:A bios
honorable mention - losing Puzzle Kombat and Chess Kombat for "Motor Kombat"
8. Most offensive MK game - the very racist MK: Special Forces
honorable mention - MK: Shaolin Monk's bastardization of the MK storyline
9. Best MK couple - Mileena and Baraka
honorable mention - Kitana and Liu (disqualified on account of him being a rotting corpse)
10. Best Character that Fans Hated - Stryker

11. Worst Fatality - Quan Chi's "Neck Stretch"

12. Best Character Death Retcon - Johnny Cage
