What ever happened to productive feedback people? Seriously, I guess I can't skull you for thinking it sucks, but you could at least do him the courtesy of telling him why you feel that way. It would also be a nice gesture to give him points on how he could improve if you think it's really so bad. And people wonder why this forum has gone downhill in quality so much... the people who give "critiques", if that even exists here now, just have no sense whatsoever.
