One reason why it took Shujinko his whole life to find six lousy Kamidogu is because he spent all his time doing side quests for other people. This is the first in a new series by me (and don't worry, the MKSM comics will continue, too):

I wondered about that myself actually, why was Jax there a full twenty-odd years before he should have been. Same with Kabal, he appears in Earthrealm at the beginning and I didn't know what the hell was going on. Props to Shujinko though, he found a much easier way to beat Jax than using all those bloody throws. I wish that worked in the actual game. Heh, Shujinko's Special Attack "Remind People They Shouldn't Exist Yet!" Its a step up from the spear I suppose.
