A Real challenge for you sprite artists

I`d like this character in a standing (breathing) animation, with a height of around 100-120 pixels. He was originally made in photoshop very very hi-res with a brush, so it can`t simply be scaled down for transparency and size reasons. So i`m curious to see if any of you could pull it off.
