Well this is my first story, hope you guys enjoy it.


The Original Sub-Zero:

I am Sub-Zero, member of the Lin-Kuei and son of the Elder Sub-Zero. I have been a part of the Lin Kuei for some time now and as I grow so does my knowledge in the arts of cold. For a while now I have been on minor missions to recrute members for are clan but latley I have had a need for more, almost a craving for blood and power, i grow tired of being a pet of a clan, I will one day show that i will be a leader!

As the day's pass the craving grow's and I am starting to have dreams, maybe even nightmares of killing. I do not know how much longer I can control it but I will do my best as of now. For now I am on a mission with my partner Hydro, Hydro and I have been members of the Lin-Kuei since we were young and we are more than just partners we have grown into good friends during these long years. Are current mission is to spy on are enemy clan the Shiri-Ryu, the Shiri-Ryu have been enemy's of the Lin-Kuei for as far back as I can remember and now we here that that they have some strange plans that do not consist of this world, what these plans I do not know, but I will get as much information as possible. As of now me and Hydro are trying to find out everything we can on these plans of the Shiri-Ryu as we continue to find out what they are up to we do not find any information on there plans, but we have heard constant rumers of a portal?

we find this information of a portal usefull so we are heading back to the Lin-Kuei base to tell are Grand-master of this. After discussing the little we know about this portal are Grand-master sets me and Hydro to drop are mission of finding out the Shiri-Ryu's plans and look into this portal more. Are Grand-master seemed some a little shocked hearing about a portal, whatever it is it must be important, A fellow Lin-Kuei member by the name of Sektor argued with the Grand-master saying that this is to big of a mission for minor Lin-Kuei warriors and insists that he has the job for this, the Grand-master did not agree on this and we go on are way to find out what we can. On the way to the Shiri-Ryu base i have thought's on Sektor and how it seems that he thinks he is the greatest of all Lin-Kuei, the thought of that makes me want to kill him with my own hands. Putting that aside me for now, me and Hydro have made it to the Shiri-Ryu clan's base and await further talk on this portal. as we wait we over here a Shiri-Ryu member and a man bald pale man dressed in black conversing about the portal, they seem to be higher ranked members of there clan, and what they say is quite intreaging, they say that the portal is only a couple miles south of there base and that it has mystical powers that can send you to another demention, perhaps this was the Shiri-Ryu's plans that were not of this world, the two clan memebrs leave. This information will be good for the Lin-Kuei, as of now we set to find this portal and what it's powers are.

As we arive at the portal, we both get a strange feeling from it, the closer we approach the stronger that feeling gets. there are ancient carvings of what looks to be demons on this portal, how to open though is what we need to find out. as we go back to tell the Link-Kuei the where-abouts of the portal we are ambushed by the same Shiri-Ryu member we saw talking about the portal, he said his name is Hanzo Hasashi and that he knew we were spying on the Shiri-Ryu for some time now, as we do battle with him the portal starts to glow bright red, we stop are fighting and Hanzo dissapears into the shadows, as me and hydro stay, we diside to enter this protal and see where are what it leads to...

Once we entered are bodies felt hot as fire, as we look around it looks as if we were in hell itself. we walked slowly around the what seemed to be abbanded town, every where that we looked we would see skeletons of demons and humans, as we go to enter the portal to go back to the Lin-Kuei we are ambushed once again, but this time by demons and oni about 50 of them all together, as we are serounded a man with pale skin identical to the one we saw at the Shiri-Ryu base comes to us and says if we want to live to tell about this place we must do a mission for him, Hydro does not agree with this and atempts to jump back in the portal, as he goes an Oni grab's him and puts his hand around his neck, the man with pale skin looks at me and asks, do you want to know what happens when you dont do what i ask? i shake my head as he comands his oni to kill Hydro, and with a quick snap of his neck, Hydro was dead. As i sit there in silence, wanting to tear them all limb from limb, i have no choice but to do this mission the pale man asks of, he reaveles his name to be Shinnok and that he is a fallen Elder God, I find this quite hard to beleave but i will not question him on it, his mission for me is to go and find an amulet that he had stolen from him by a man named Quan Chi.

I have located the place that this amulet should be, but it is huge I must find some sort of map. On my way to find the map room i see to Oni Gaurding this room, it must be the map room, i quickly diposed of the to Oni and enter the room, as i look around the room is empty and the map is located in the middle of the room, once i grabbed the map I hear somone walk up behind me, as I turn around I notice that it is Hanzo Hasashi of the Shiri-Ryu he tells me that he was hired by Quan Chi and that I will not succeed in finding the amulet as he chalenged me to a battle, as we fight I easly over powered him and as the lust of killing over welms me I go for the kill, as he begged for his life i showed him no mercy and ripped his spine from his body. on the way to the amulet room I over here a man and three women talking, it appears to be the bald pale man i saw talking to Hanzo in Earthrealm. i pay no attention to this and go to find the amulet, strangly it is not Gaurded and i take it with ease... but as i grabed the amulet, i heard a strange laughter, as I look around there is no one to be found. I quickly go on to take the amulet back to Shinnok as i am ambushed once again, but this time it is by the bald man, he reveals himself to be Quan Chi, sorcerrer of the Netherrealm wich i take is were i am at right now, for i know that this is not Earthrealm.

As he tells me who he is he has to gaurd lock me away in some sort of prison, i remaind there for many weeks untill one day a god of thunder known as Raiden appears to me, he tells me that heknows about everything i have done and that he knows i have been having dreams os killing, and he tells me my soul is corrupted by an evil taint. he said that if I die in this realm it will consume me for that the evil inside me is far greater then most that he has seen, he makes a deal with me, the deal is that if i get the amulet for him he will rid me of my evil and send me back to Earthrealm, I agree on this and I go on again looking for the amulet, this time Quan Chi has it held in his thrown room, as I aprouch the thrown room Quan Chi is talking to a man that resemble Hanzo Hasashi, but i know it cannot be for i killed him with my own hands, as the man leaves Quan Chi has his back turned and quickly without hesitation i prepair to attack him, but he knows i am there and tells me that it's onna take more then that to get the amulet. he aprouched me and grabed me by my neck and said that i will pay with my life for this Quickly with a jerk to my neck Quan Chi ended my life, as i lie there dying my body sinks into the ground, and i feel my body being taken over by a strange power... this power is pure eveil and my Skin starts to turn pitch black, i do not remember what happend after that but as i awoke back in the neatherrealm i was copletley dark and i felt an evil that i had never felt before, as I noticed i did not have the power of cold any longer, but i had the power of darkness and with this new found power i will take overthis neatherrealm! i will be the boss that I always wanted to be! i am no longer Sub-Zero of the Lin-Kuei, i am now Noob Saibot of Neatherrealm!
