No Fan Art system luv? =(

Anyway, I think the effect on the bubbles is not the best you could have choosen, and there's some things that don't seem to be right with Kung Lao's sprite. The contrast seems too high, the lines too clear, he can never have those colors (look at the enviroment) and his shadow does not quite correspond with the light source(s).

There... that was the bad news. As for the good news; that's a really nice job for 20 minutes of effort, and I really like what you did with Kano (apart from throwing acid on him, heh).

Something that creeps me out is that I decided to make my first fake, two days ago... and I used that exact same part of the exact same picture for a background.
I gave up on the pic though. grin'

Hmm...It looks too much like Kano is doing his uppercutt, I dont like the way u made his melting body, and it looks like Kung Lao is floating.
Still, not bad, I guess. U should stick to 2D sprite edits.

If you always stick to the same thing, you won't improve! ;)

This concept should have been in the game!

Anyway, I would refine the shadows more. They are too blurry right now. The shading on the characters is on the wrong side also. Don't know how you would fix that though. Perhaps play with the dodge and burn in PS. Both of those issues make Kung Lao appear detached from the background. Unless of course you want to remodel the whole thing in 3D.

I think it's great, especially as it's your first attempt at 3D stuff.

I personally like the acid bubbles, but I'm not keen on look of the acid consuming Kano, it just doesn't look quite right.
Example: If you look under Kano's arms, it seems to be "falling off" him oddly?
I guess Kano doesn't look in too much pain really, and, well, he should, he is being killed in a painful way (I'm just guessing wink ).

And I think enough has been said already for the shadows.

Nice job.
