The Kano sprite looked decent, didnt like Raiden all that much and for some reason his legs are blurry. I dont really like the background, it gives it a boring feeling to it. I like how you took the floor from the MK3 Belltower and turned into a dock, pretty neat. I give it a 3/5.

I think you need a lot more practice before you post another image.

What is wrong with the image...

Sprites

- Neither is edited or manipulated in any way (Kano Blocking Sprite & Raiden after a Nutt Punch from JC)

- They aren't on the same plane (Raiden is further away from the camera)

- They aren't even from the same game, so Raiden's MK1 sprite looks atrocious next to Kano's MK3 sprite. The Difference in quality is just too vast.

- Neither is casting a shadow.

Background

- The ocean looks like a stock image. I'm not opposed to using that in a fake, but credit it if you do. If you painted that sky scape, then I commend you for it but, if you have the talent for that, you should be able to do more than a copy paste job.

- It's not Raiden's legs that are blurry, it's the railing on your background. It looks like it has a corona of some sort.

Effects

- Kano's laser is lilac? Doesn't fit a hardcore criminal at all.

- There aren't any life bars, or anything that makes a fake look like a fake.

- The humor has been done before, and it's not that funny to anyone out of adolescence.


What is right about the image.

- No missing pixels... (hey, it's a feat for some!)

- The sky reflection on the water is hot, if you drew it. If it's a stock photo, well, you didn't have anything to do with it then.



Overall, too many things gone wrong and not enough gone right. It really is below mediocre.

Even a copy and paste fake can look good. It's just going to be boring because we've seen it all before if we've played the games. The blood never changes, the sprites never change, the props never change and it gets old.
