I like how you at least pushed yourself in making an original BG even though is not that creative. Try to focus on the sprites, and most importantly, originality. The dimensions of the fake should be 395 x 294. That goes for the sprites; leave it how they are, please.

Basically, it's because MKII Jax is the only sprite MKWarehouse has in abundance, so, the amateurs use and abuse the shit out of it.
