Sweet, another animation from UR!
While everything was great, one thing that I don't like was that we can't see Kano when he falls down (which could have been the best part of the animation, ironically!) Perhaps if Kano was in the middle of the screen when the animation began we could have seen that landing
I also see you've been taking notes about the text thing -- you've got "Kabal Wins" and then "Fatality". Good work, and your improvement has been noticed!
So because of that isssue with the landing being unseen, and the font which still doesn't look quite right, I'll give it 8.5 out of 10. Keep it going with these, dude!

I thought the same thing ]{. I decided the execution wouldn't be as good unless there was that large distance. Thanks man

The animation was too fast, even for Kabal. The sprite transition was bad in this animation, which is not your case for all your others. The running then throwing a hooksword was too quick. And I remain unsatified with the blood on Kano's head.
So, you get a 3.5/5

It would have made more sense if you had used something like this:

That's an excellent point, too; but it's easier to make one sprite than it is to make a complete animated set of them. Still, I suppose if there's a will there's a way

Winning pose animations are usually only a few frames. Like you said, if there's a will, there's a way.

Kabal's is about 10-12 frames if I remember, so it's quite a lot to get it looking right.
However, the way this animation is I'd much prefer it if you'd have attempted something like that if only to make it more interesting.
The way I would've tried it is have Kabal throwing the hooksword with his combo sprites, there's one inparticular where he slams his hooks down which you could have edited to make a throw (using his actual throw just looks strange
Have it stick into Kano's head and have him stumbling back with it stuck in him. Have the background scroll with him, until he ends up roughly centre and then have him fall down. Much fun with blood effects while he's doing this etc. much more impact, far more interesting AND you've avoided even worrying about the win pose
As it is now - 2/5, doesn't look very polished but you could make this REALLY good, I'd love to see a remake!

Nice workaround/alt scenario Tim. Things were kept pretty low key with this one, in contrast to my previous "Blast" ani. If anyone wants to remake this, feel free.
