This site is supposed to be a rant-free and good site,but people keep ranting about stuff thats pointless.
Who cares about who's Sprites are better placed?
It's about having fun making them,or being happy at the looks of your new,possibly good animation.

UltimateRyu and I haven't fought in weeks, man. You were feuding with GreatQueenSindel in one of his threads, so, before you go posting poorly formed bullshit, get your facts straight.

People still come to this site for fun, but that's not what for which it was chiefly formed. It was formed for news on Mortal Kombat. The forums are just a subtopic, just to keep users coming in.

In what sense am I not right? If people suck at producing images, then post them, criticism is an option that many users take to heart. If you're going to post something, you will never receive complete honesty, nor will you receive complete praise. my potential hasn't been reached, but I do, and this is out of confidence as opposed to egotism, consider myself the best fake picture artist on this board, to date. MKRocket is a close second, and blacksaibot gives MKRocket a run for his money on the odd occasion, but everyone else remains mediocre. Sure, MaxDam has created some nice fakes, but the ones that people are most impressed with were formed by using cheap tactics--copying portions of MKDA renders and in-game models to make himself appear as good as the three best fake image artists here. He was never beyond mediocre. He was a glorified amateur, and when he strayed away from the copying and pasting of render and model pieces, his work lost a lot of interest.

I know this site isn't about WWII. I don't recall anyone bringing any sort of war, and the only ones taking place on this site, on this forum, were between users in petty competitions, where the envious amateur was always massacred by the hardened veteran. Flash-Crash was effectively flushed out by me. UltimateRyu was destroyed by MKRocket. There are many people I've trounced, but I'll only mention the one. Both of the aforementioned users bitched and moaned, although on completely different notes, when they had their asses handed to them on a silver platter. Flash-Crash said I would never excel in animation. I gave it a shot a few times, but have and will never post my works because they are mediocre at best. UltimateRyu likes to say that users who best him, when a competition is under way, do nothing more than dust off an old fake image and bring it to the fore. Both users were and are no better than mediocre, especially in the area of creating stills.

Those who are obviously great gather the jealousy of those who will never surpass them. This has been proven time and again by most of the veterans I've mentioned in the past. Anyway, I'm heading off to work. I'll respond to any of your hate messages later.

I'm sick of all the try-hard rants going around here too. That's because we dont realy have any "nice" people to set an example anymore (i havent seen Nova or Temp here in ages) But if it really bothers you, just pm the mods about it. It's like a democracy, if you have enough people who are genuinely irritated by other users' childish mouth-offs then action will be taken by the people who have the authority.
Thats why I'm reluctant to submit more of my fakes, because it seems the lesser-quality fakes get more attention than the ones that actually have effort put in them. So of course nowadays i just help bbWWdd with his game.
But yeah, if it really bothers you just make a formal (and mature) complain to the mods so they can decide where to draw the line between "giving one's opinion for constructive criticism" and "mouthing off for no reason other than someone's crappy work gives them high blood pressure"

Fighting and flaming will always be on every forum you go to. Just ignore it and/or deal with it, or just leave.
