Bio: I am Baraka, Lord of the Tarkatan Hordes and General of Onaga. I was commited to service with my lover Mileena to my master Onaga. But Mileena betrayed me, attacking my armies and going so far as to disobey my master's orders. I ambushed my former lover and presented her savaged body to Onaga. Pleased with my job, he gave me a new task: Travel to the Netherealm and enlist the help of the many demons that live there.

Sub-Zero
Alignment: Good

Enemies: Noob Saibot, Sektor
Bio: I am Sub-Zero. Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. I was ambushed by Tarkatan hordes, but was saved by the mystic power of the armor that I have discovered after burying the corpse of my former protege Frost. I encountered the warrior Kenshi on my quest, who saved me from an attack from an unknown warrior. In gratitude, I promised to make him an honorary member of the Lin Kuei when we returned home. Unfortunately there was no clan to become a part of when we returned. Our base was destroyed and my clan members massacred. I had no clues except for a single word burned into a tree reading "Tekunin". Although Kenshi has left on other businesses, I have the help of the former cyborg assasin Cyrax and one of the surviving members of my clan, Pirus, to seek out the killers and punish them for their deeds.

Scorpion

Enemies: Shujinko, Quan Chi, Onaga
Bio: I am Scorpion. A hellspawned spectre from the Netherealm. The Elder Gods enlisted my aid in destroying The Dragon King, Onaga. I had almost reached my goal when the foolish mortal, Shujinko, interfered in the battle, giving Onaga his opportunity to escape. I attacked Shujinko in fury, but he fled, the little coward. Desperate, I prayed to the Elder Gods for advice. The God of Wind, Fujin appeared before me and informed me of the location of the Dragon King. I left immediatly, determined to obtain my objective.

Raiden
Alignment: Neutral
Allies: Fujin
Enemies: Shujinko, Onaga
Bio: I am Raiden. The God of Lightning. I sacrificed my mortal body in an attempt to destroy Onaga, but failed. After I was reborn in Earth, I learned of how the Dragon King was ressurected. In fury, I lost faith in mortals, seeing them as they truly were, beings infused with greed who will do anything to be recognized. Despite my fellow god Fujin's protests, I departed to Outworld again, to destroy Onaga. With or without those cursed mortals.

Shujinko
Alignment: Good
Allies:
Enemies: Scorpion, Raiden, Onaga
Bio: I am Shujinko. The Chosen One of the Elder Gods. Or so they said. Deceived by the Dragon King, I unwittingly delivered to him the 6 Kamidogu. Now I seek to right my wrongs and destroy Onaga for his deception. Unfortunately, I am now the enemy of many, who believe it was my goal all along to free the Dragon King. It will not be an easy task.
