Can someone tell me how to make the speech in comics look like

For Windows XP....

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Display -> Appearance -> Effects -> Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts -> Standard

Then when you type your text, you can take a screenshot of it (using Print Screen) and you paste into Paint or whatever art program it'll look real smooth

Try a bigger font size (like 14+) and then the text should have that anti-aliased effect you're going for.

You can then shrink the text using another program (not Paint or Wordpad though...something better)

But one step at a time, try what I suggested above first
