Baraka is getting shock therapy from Lord Raiden. There's no much stuff going on here, but you could consider this my first attempt to real fakes, with lifebars and so... Basically, a copy and paste job with a couple of custom things, like blood and lighting.

I am a happy well adjusted emotinally disturbed person, and for some reason all the raiden sprites keep staring at me I mean it tell them to stop, they are scaring me hides 
my friend pred gave me this one, and the avvy that goes with it, but I love the ones flameshang and darkryder gave me too, so expect a cycle of these three folks

eh this isn't working imo. effects are way too over the top and the ideas too clichéd. We've seen stuff like this done a hundred times, many of those in the actual MK games themselves.
Pros:
> perfect lifebars
> really nice touch with the glowing beneath raiden's feet and Baraka
> the blood, while not that great, counters the deep blues and purples nicely
> lightening is good but you went over the top with the thinner bolts. ease up
Cons:
> Raiden is too damn bright. I know, he's powerfully electric but it's just too much. At least make his face somewhat visible.
> the dots around raiden don't help. The ones closest to him should be more concentrated while the outer ones should be dispersed. The effect is lost when they're all just floating around him randomly like fireflies.
> blood is, idk, just doesnt look right. maybe its the angle, or the fact that it shoots up like a perfect tube before dispersing out. MK isnt supposed to be all that realistic, but this looks like you stuck a red vegetable in baraka's neck hole.
> Good choice of background colour, it makes the fake come together well artistically. But in saying that you didn't really do much at all except pallet swap the whole thing. You could make a brilliantly simple background using bits and pieces of other backgrounds while using the same colour
A good effort though. you certainly put a decent amount of thought into this compared to the lumps of defecation plopping around here.

you can definitely do a LOT better than this mate
