Epic Battle version 2: "Fire 'N' Ice"

Here's another version of my first "epic battle" fake. Shang Tsung and Raiden chose to sit out this time. Now they want to see a demonstraton of incredible power between two old rivals.

Okay the effects are still way too much. I think I might not think that as much if it didn't drag out so long, I mean, if they were closer the effects wouldn't be so large scale and in your face.
But still, too much.
Anyhow, some nice work to the background here, but I really can't stand the effects.

The only thing I like about this picture is the way Scorpion and Sub-Zero are shooting their powers at each other. All the other stuff isn't needed, and it doesn't fit. I don't get the tower with the picture of Baraka in it, why is it in there? But since the blue and yellot beams look cool, 4/5.

Like I said before I like the layes of your fakes but out of the other ones this one is my fav. I love the DBZ feel of it with the ice and fire blast. Very awesome. 5/5 dragon points.

I think it's a very original idea and that's why I like this. The background does have alot going on, but imo, it looks good. I like the tower behind them with Baraka and Raiden and Mileena in them. Shao Kahn with his wifey and daughter looks good atop the mountain. I think the effects are great looking, but I do agree they are too drawn out and lil much. They take away from the background and that is almost as important as the rest of the pic. But other than that I like it, good job.
