The ermac sprite does look good. Nice editing. As far as the rest, eh. The idea of the fatal is good, but the exection of it is all wrong. First off, the shadows are way too thick and unreal to be their actual shadows, they arent even casting the same direction. Altho Cage's feet and legs reflection in the liquid is good. Would have been cool to see an original background but thats no big deal. What is tho, is the lack of lifebars, win counter, win icons under the lifebar, round timer, and the fact that it is a fatality and the screen should be darkened. With some time and patience and thinking about what you are doing, which is making a fake as close to believable as possible, you will get better and improve greatly.

That's why you don't make it a Fan Art topic. Keep it regular and just take the replies that people give you. Oh yea, and btw, if a mod sees this, you will get skull points (or even worse) if you even care. I know its hard when people don't give you reviews that you don't like and you put effort into it (I should know, I make a whole fake out of ms paint ...no copy and paste kid) and they don't give credit where it's due. Well, I say, just get used to it. Take the replies you get and work on it.

Ok, now onto the fake. I like the designs of the sprites (VERY WELL DONE) but to me, they are too cartoony, I like to see sprites that you would be able to actually see in the game, but that's my perogative. Everything is good. I really don't care for shadows, timers, lifebars because all those too me are useless. All I want to see are nice sprites and a nice background. You didn't make your own background but thats fine because you're honing in on your sprite skillz.
So you are on the right track to be a good fake pic maker, just keep working on it. Don't worry about the number of dragons you have, just make your style and keep working, people will conform to it, don't worry, they always do.

I know you've apologized and all, but is this the reason you do them? It's not a public service, lol. I know it's great to exhibit them and everything and see what people think of them, that's the best part probably, but you don't have to make them just so that you can get people's opinions.

Anyhow, on with the show .

I like lifebars in fakes, but as the Johnny sprite is so far up, then the lifebars aren't so important (aka Liu's Dragon fatality when they dissapear). But however, I would dim the background. For one it's a fatality, and for two it can make the glow on Ermac's hand and on Johnny stand out a little more.

I like the reflection in the pool, and I do like the shadows. Me, I always prefer game stuff, to make it look like this stuff is really in the game, so I would prefer game shadows, though I get the idea this isn't completely what you're trying to do, so I guess it suits it.

But as for the edits, they look good. Ermac does look a little on the cartoony side, and the sprite you edited makes him look like he's standing a little oddly, but the look works quite well, and the effects look good too. The reflection is also a nice touch.

I would rate this 7.8/10, it's good .
And don't complain, because copy and pasters don't get anything over 4 with me , lol.

Well this is a fake. Fakes rarely get over 3 from me period. There are the odd exceptions like Maxdam but for the most part they will get a lower rating than a drawing.

Anyway. I personally like this, seeing how I suck at making fakes.. I like Ermac ALOT, and the sprite of Johnny is enough to make someone throw up.. Awesome job!
