Ah hah... I forgot about that whole competition crap. It was supposed to happen these past few months actually because I thought I'd be going on boring business trips (which all have been cancelled).
Maybe I'll get my chance this April... that trip hasn't been cancelled.

As always, nice and simple and none of those fancy-shmancy non-MK graphics thrown all over the place. I like the editing on the living forest stage, the red gives it a nice mood change. I like the blood on the tree's teeth/mouth too. I like how you re-made my stage at the end =) brings back great memories.

Are you guys planning on leaving?It seems you have been staying, but yet about to leave. I'm not really sure, but with that being said I really hope you guys stay. You guys are two classic members and your inputs are always a treat. Honestly. I really like you guys and I wish I could have gone back there and saw how popular this website actually was. You guys should continue posting here and not give up because hopefully it will be back to the way it was soon and have new and enthusiastic posters here with a lot to say. I'm really looking forward to the future of this site and you guys should to. I hope you guys can realize where i'm coming from; i've seen what you've posted and it's great. I don't plan on leaving... I've been with MK during good times and bad. Only time I "leave" is when I get banned for giving a mod a taste of their own bull shit, or I defend myself from ass hats too much and they're friends with a mod. Something along those lines.

I don't know about illusion, but I've been "out of the game" because of time constraints. Ever since college and getting into my career, I haven't had the time or patients for making fakes and animations like I used to.

Or an Illusion vs. BlackSaibot animation/fake since the last time the MK community saw two artists go head-to-head was VenoMark vs. Minus_Zero when Mobster4Christ held the contest. As for deadlines? tear tear. I’m speechless, thanks for the nice words man. That means a lot. It’s a trip, when I was making this animation, I was treating it like if this was my last. And even though this site has gone doo-doo, I’m still holding on even though is not what it was what in its heyday. But you know, that’s life; We’re all going to go through that stage of being occupied with our careers, family, social life and other significant shit. I’m not the most active member, but the day I decide to say fuck this shit for good, well...I would make it public and I’m sure BlackSaibot would do the same. This site is full of new cats, but it’s nice to see members like you, Redman who appreciate what we do. Thank you.

Anyways, The first fake was alright. Just looked like Noob doing one of Scorpion's fatalities. The second one was so fast that I blinked and missed any sort of animation.

To be honest, I was hoping to see a much larger segment with the Black Saibot Vs Illusion part. At least some dripping blood on the axe, or an arm swing or something. I mean, it really just looks like a Black Scorpion doing his fatality on Sonya, and bam, he's cut in half as soon as he teleports to fight Black Saibot.
But hey, I know that this isn't going to be your last animation, so I can't wait to see where this goes.

By adding a couple more sentences to my point? There was nothing to save. I gave my thoughts on the animation without bashing anyone and if you look back at my original post I said the animation was ALRIGHT. Meaning it was good. Nothing special (I've seen you guys do a lot better), but it was good.
