Good fake imo. I like the huge amount of blood, and it looks pretty good. I like the frozen head, and the background looks good. I think, though, you put too much blood in and it looks unrealistic, you should take some out. Also, Cage's stance when he's dead looks weird. You should have him either kneeling at Sub-Zero's presence, or laying down on the bridge. Finally, this is minor, but it looks like Cage's leg looks broken, but that also goes with his weird stance. Still, very good fake, and if you fix those minor gripes i feel it'll be perfect. 4.25/5

for the leg, it looks broken cause it is broken,
as for the wierd stance, I got nothing.

I think there's far too much. I know you said it's an experiment and I hope ya got what ya wanted out of it, but some really good like 1/4 quantity blood could be just as effective.
Like how I love the blood flowing down Johnny, but there's loads coming out of his head that just detracts from the detail on him. The stuff coming out from his neck doesn't seem to match that flowing down him either .

It all takes place in one half of the stage. That's not really a bad thing, but for a much nicer image to the eye, I think you could have stretched it out a little, using a different sprite for Subby perhaps, one in mid-rip, using Johnny in the same position but having Subby behind him perhaps. That'd really work well with Johnny's sprite actually.

While the frozen head is kinda cool, there's so much blood coming out of that head it makes it look weird to me, I'd prefer his head to be just normal, but visible instead of so much blood .

Shadows are ok I guess, but I'd prefer them the other way, going into the screen. I know that doesn't work with the lightsource, but you do get to see more of em an stuff (speaking of, I think the sprites might be a little further down the screen in the game).

Dunno if you were going for a game-ish look, but lifebars an stuff if you are.

Good stuff really though, but I think if you put more into the composition of it (laid out really well) and used more of the screen, it would be really cool .

The blood is decent, the fake is bloody pointless.

I understand you're experimenting and all but...

You're missing lifebars, the shadows are pointing the wrong way, the backround was poorly edited, all you did was take away some saturation from the "Pit 2", the sprites were not edited and the blood is very similar to red diarrhaea.

You seem as though you didn't even try this time, the effort lacks. Meh, oh well.
