That's a copy and paste job, and it could be made in 5 seconds. Be sure to take your time, and add something to it instead of just copying the spirtes and putting them on a background.

You can make your own cool backgrounds using parts of other backgrounds, or even change the character sprites.

It's very boring, uninspired (you took Baraka's impale fatality and applied it to the guy's head; not very creative), and it needs more editting. A fake should take you a long time to do, and it shouldn't be a simple "copy & paste" job, otherwise nobody's going to even bother with it.

This might be unoriginal and a copy/paste job but i like the out come.You should add lifebars.When you get better at fakes try using this idea but just improved and i think it will look alot better then now.

Add life bars? Is this not meant to be a Fatality?

As for the Fake i dont really like it, sorry. Try to beleive in yourself a lot more and try to do some modification.

To the thread starter:

Don't worry about lifebars. Make a great fake first, all that other stuff can go in later. Lifebars should be your least worry about making a good fake.

Come up with an idea that you haven't seen or think that no one would of ever thought of. Something off the wall but still seems that it could be done within the realm of MK. Then, try it out. That's basically it. The editing is just one aspect that is heavily influenced on how good your fake is nowadays. Just take it step at a time.

For the fake: It sucks.

Go easy on the guy. I mean yeah it sucks I do copy&paste jobs with a custom BG with props from other levels. Still it could improve but for effort
