Ah my hand drawn art preceeds my fake making by about 15 or 16 years...I'm 18 and I started drawing very early...but it's twisted stuff that doesn't pertain to MK, just abstract and bizarre. However, I use my freehand skills for custom blood and body parts. Fun stuff man.

Good for you. For me, it would be brushes all the way though.

Actually my medium of choice is ink. I've drawn quite a few MK pics, I just don't take them seriously though, no matter how good they turn out. I express my MK ideas through fakes. There's nothing cooler than using Photoshop to rip character's organs straight from their body

Well this was done in Photoshop. I started in January or February and I've always been keen on making my own blood and guts intead of copy/paste crap.

FatalTragedy, since you do this freehand, I know this may be a stupid question, but how deep is your knowledge of the human body and it's internal organs? I've seen this fake and others of yours being posted by the fake FT. Nicely gory.

I'm quite famliar with the organs and blood flow. This is my personal favorite of my fakes, I've never been this happy with a fake for this long, lol. One issue I have is the quality of my screen. It appears so much nicer on my laptop than it would on any other screen. The fake before this one, with MK:DA Cyrax, looked gorgeous on my screen. I saw it for the first time on a PC the other day and I very very upset. I wish I had a PC sometimes so I could work out the little details in a manner that can be appreciated by everybody. Until I do that though, I'm stuck making fakes like this (which is still fine, I guess).

LOL wow, I cant find anything wrong with this fake. I see the bar of fakes has been raised since I have been gone... either that or your just REALLY good.

Hey, I really love this fake, but not every fake is perfect. No shadows (though I rarely ever care), and if you are going to use the MK2 Lifebars, MK2 Text, and MK2 Timer, use the MK2 win symbols, and the heart Scorp is holding doesn't look like a heart at first glance. I love how you came up with your OWN blood and kickass edits, how you know the human anatomy is a fucking mystery to me.

Uh there's shadows...I never post a fake without shadows. And I always use matching win symbols and I thought that with the MKT sky/MK2 stage prop hybrid I'd try the skull win symbols.

Looks good...except for the lack of the win count or "press start" over the life bars, assuming you meant it to mimik MK2...

Okay, new version up with a more MK2 friendly appeal. I also saw I made a huge mistake with the flow of the shadows so I fixed that too.

NOW I can see the shadows, heh, love the way they're made.

I still stand by a 9.5/10.

Sir, I'd RARELY give a 10 nowdays, you'd have to have utter perfection. This is awesome, but not perfection. A MaxDam fake for example could earn a 10/10 for perfection. I'm not saying you aren't good, I'm saying you are great.

So if I were to make a custom sprite, an exact replica of Scorpion's MKDA or MKD it'd be better?

It's not one element that wows people, it's all the small details too that come with it. That;s the key to a perfect fake.
