Arena:
I love the concept, but the colors and saturation are a bit of a turn off. There's too much purple everywhere and no purple light source. Sure, the sky might be purple, but the majority of the light indoors should be from the candles... unless all the stone is amethyst... and I doubt that was your intention. The random lava spots on the floor don't seem right. The candles and statues look great, I love Warrior Shrine remakes. I just think the black parts of the statue are too black which makes it hard to believe they're statues. If you look at MK1 Liu Kang's statue, you can see his black pants aren't really black, but the stone is just darker. The flames on the torches and candles look toooo bright yellow, like a cartoon, not like real fire.

I thought it was Skarlet this whole time until I read the life bars.... not sure why you messed with the colors so much on this fake.

There are annoying "outlines" on all your sprites like they were poorly ripped from a screen shot. Needs a bit more "anti-aliasing" on the edges of your sprites.

The fatality is boring... I know you could have come up with something on your own. I barely noticed the sais in Kitana's feet.

The shadows don't seem properly aligned with the sprites.

Though there was quite a bit of work put into this one, I have to be honest and say this is not your best, but still a good fake. Looking forward to your next piece.

There is not much to add...bs said it all...overall is a great fake , did not noticed the sai until bs pointed that out .

...except I like the color choice for the arena, it attracts the eyes. the only downside to it is that it takes attention from the characters bcuz of their sprite colors. it would have worked with characters with different colors in their costume.

I kind of dig the outlines; they help the sprite stand out from the background but still fit with the color scheme of the background (a fiery orange color)

It's cool how you made the sprites in the background look like statues, with the re-coloring and the cracks. Nice work.

What's already been said, the stage, such as the colors and saturation keeps you from noticing the characters. I barely noticed Kitana. The stage is too loud.
