OK, this is going to be a 3 Part Story that I cooked up while watching Darrius' ending in Deception.

The skies of Sediou were dark. Not by night but by the storm clouds on the horizon. Priests and clerics preached that storms were symbols of disorder and insanity, an omen of Chaos. Darrius, however, saw it as a different omen. He saw the storm as a symbol of his victory. The darkening of the skies were the preparations of battle, the later storm would be the great battle that was soon to come, and the sun that would follow a new empire, free of the oppression that had plagued this realm for far too long. Darrius remembered the moment well, the moment he had pledged to end this society, this society that was so obsessed with Order that they would never tolerate even a minor misdemeanor. His family was in an arguement with a guardsman when the guardsman in question became aggressive and attacked his father, who attempted to fight back before he was arrested by another nearby guard. Brought before the Seidan High Court, his father was sentanced to death for assulting an officer, despite subsantial evidence that it was the officer had caused the encounter. Darrius watched in horror as his father was brought before the High Commander of the Seidan Guard, and was beheaded. Shortly thereafter, his mother, overcome by grief, commited suicide. Darrius was forced to live on the streets, hungry, alone, and with no place to go. Five long years he lived there, all the while nursing his hatred for the society that had ruined his life forever. He began assembling other outcasts to his cause, eventually becoming a full-fledged gang. Forging alliances with other gangs, Darrius eventually united them into one large group, whom he deemed the Resistance. Through the rest of his life, he and his men had made moves against the Seidans, ambushing guards, spreading propoganda, and recruting others to his cause. But Darrius began to realize that he was not hurting the Seidans as much as he liked to think. If he killed a guardsmen, they would recruit another, if he spread propoganda, the guardsmen would tear it down, and for every new recruit, there was another one getting caught. Desperate, Darrius sought the help of an assasin named Dariou, a former guardsmen who had also seen the error of Sediou's ways, a kindred spirit, in Darrius' opinion. Dariou supplied him with much information about Sediou, from it's history to it's laws and regulations. But there was one piece of information that Darrius was intriuged about. The Declaration of Order. According to Dariou, it was an ancient document that was signed by the founders of the Realm of Order, swearing that never, never, would the Realm descend into Chaos. It was the central nervous system of the Seidan government, it set down all its rules, laws, and customs. Without it, Sediou would have become Chaotic and would have been Lost. Darrius inquired Dariou where the document was kept. Dariou replied that it was kept in a glass case in the middle of the Seidan High Court, and offered to steal it for him, for a large price. Darrius agreed to the proposal and paid his fee, and Dariou vanished. 2 long weeks, Darrius waited, without a word or trace of Dariou. Darrius began to worry if Dariou had simply taken his money and done nothing, or even worse, killed. But after the 15th day of wait, Dariou returned with the ancient document. It did not take long for the news of the theft to spread. The government knew exactly who to look for. An enormous bounty was placed on Darrius' head, but no one dared attack him. In a state of utter panic, added on by the continuing raids of the Resistance, the delicate fabric of Order broke. Riots broke out in the streets, guardsmen were captured and lynched, and hundreds joined the Resistance. Darrius knew it was now the time to strike. He issued an open challenge to the Seidan government, saying that now was the time to fight. The battlelines were drawn, the plain of battle would be the capitol of Sediou, an enormous gold and silver pyramid that was surrounded by a white marble courtyard in a circular fashion, with all of it hundreds of miles in the air. And that is where we find Darrius, charting out his battle plan, with his second-in-command Shiren. He was interrupted by a messanger.
"Sir, there is an emmisary from the enemy lines here to see you", he said. Darrius grunted and stood up, "Don't come with me", he ordered Shiren, "Round up the men and deal out the arms and armor". Darrius walked up to the front lines and asked the messanger where the emissary was. The messanger pointed to a nearby podium where two heavily armored men were looking at them. Darrius walked swiftly up to them.
"What is it? And if it is an order to surrender, then consider it denied", barked Darrius to the soldiers. Ignoring him, the larger one pulled out a paper and began reading it.
"By the order of High Commander Hotaru, you are herebye ordered to call off your attack against the supreme Seidan empire. Your men will be rounded up and sent to prison camps nearby, and Commander Hotauru will deal with you personally", he read. Darrius couldn't help but crack a smile. "I told you, I will not surrender to you OR this Commander Hotaru, return to your commanding officer and inform them of my decision." With that, he grabbed the smaller soldier by the neck and hurled him off the podium, where he slammed into a nearby column with a sick crack. "What was that about?", cried the larger soldier. "It only takes one person to deliver a message", replied Darrius cooly. The soldier took the hint and bolted, amid the laughs and taunts of the Resistance. Darrius looked over his shoulder at the fallen soldier, when he noticed he was still breathing.
"Grab him", ordered Darrius to a nearby soldier, gesturing to the soldier, "I want him questioned". As soon as he returned to his plans, he said to Shiren, "We attack tonight". Feedback would be nice.
