I like it, I just think you could add a few things, like a shadow under the bridge to show that it's hanging over a the fire pit, and maybe some flames shooting up from the surface.

Erm, I don't think I am seeing the same fake everyone else is seeing because I don't think this fake is even close to the 5/5 or 9/10 area. I would probably give this fake maybe a 5/10 tops. You want a reason for my score? Well here you go:

Background: I don't have any idea why you think the whole zoomed out thing was a good idea..you can't even see the sprites or your Photoshop effects that well, or maybe that's a good thing. I would have done the bridge more close up like they do with the 2D MK game's pit stages. Another thing, your stage doesn't even look close to the place they fought in the movie...that is if you were actually trying to recreate that place. Meh.

Idea: The idea is fine with me since it is a recreation...its just the way you did it that makes me yawn.

Effects: Yay, more Photoshop effects and they don't look good. Heh, if you did make those effects, which I doubt, then you fail that area because they do not look realistic in my opinion.

Editing: I don't really see any real editing here...just little effects and brushes as usual.

Overall: This fake could have been way, way better and I know it. Heh.

Take some advice, look at some quality fakes and try to take some influence from them. Don't steal the creator's ideas but try to learn from them. That and try to actually edit something.. Just don't throw a bg together, slap some sprites down, use some cheap ass Photoshop shortcuts (filters, brushes, effects, etc.). Heh. I don't mind if you use Photoshop but don't bastardize the program with your apparent laziness.

MKR already said some of the things, and I'm not a good faker, but I'll go anyways.

For the main part of the pit, you just took ONE shade of color (Yellow) and basically made it almost the whole lava pit besides the edges. More shades are needed.

The ropes look way out of place and should be on the OUTSIDE of the bridge, cause I don't see how it could support the way you have it now.

The only real editing you did was turning the sides of the bridges to an angle, but the again, they couldn't walk back up from it, it looks unrealistic.

Spiked edges are so cliche.

If you connect the rails or whatever those are it'll look MUCH better.

Last but not least the bridge needs to be closer, cause resizing sprites don't look pretty.

You did OK though.

Pretty great, I love Scorpion's head and the shield thing. Add some detail to the lava though.

The lava. My god. Can you USE more colors than yellow, I mean like I know lava is hot when its yellow (even hotter when white) but damn, show some variety (this comes from experience in lava making in MSPaint...).

The sheild...eh, its ok I guess. Not really all that....and that's IF you made it.

The fire...cmon I'm learning PS...that requires not much.

The bridge. Uhm, It actually would of looked better straight across, I guess you tried some variety somewhere...I guess I'll give you credit on that.

Sprites...ok...just keep editing please, or start.

The idea, well I see where you got the sheild and fire idea...but on the other hand, the background totally misrepresents that.

Son, you must not have learned from the PM war you started with me, I am better than you and I am not the only one who knows this. Now quit being so damned foolish and arrogant because there are people better than you and as I've been told I happen to be one of the best. Yes, I know there are people better than me, but I keep trying to improve to become that much better. What's wrong that I make quality pictures that demand some skill? Besides, it doesn't take me months to make a fake pic, I just lose interest and come back to it later. So you make stuff "at the spur of the moment", big deal, atleast put some effort into atleast. All this doesn't change the fact that this picture is a 10 minute peice of lazyiness.
