I finally decided to go ahead and continue my Armageddon Fujin sprite from like... January lol. I think it came out a lot better than it would have months ago when i originally made it.

Here is the original concept:

I don't really know MK fakes too well so take my critic with a grain of salt if you wish tongue

It looks pretty neat. However, I felt the background wasn't the best choice to use with the sprites as it made the fake less visually pleasing to look at. Maybe if there was a more distinct contrast between the sprites and the background I believe it would have made this fake better. This was especially apparent with the Quan Chi sprite. That said, I believe you did a fantastic job with the editing and the fake seemed believable.

Sick update, both edits are great. Particularly their faces/heads.

Fuck yeah! Fujin looks pretty damn awesome!!! Very nice job. The small details you were able to put into his costume is impressive. For some reason the twisting of his body seems a little off. I can't quite put my finger on it to explain in any further detail.

Quan Chi... hmm... well first I have to admit you did a good job redrawing his costume making it "clearer" in contrast to the original MKMSZ sprite. The shading isn't bad, but not great. When you compare it to the superior Fujin sprite it looks very cartoony. I already told you more than once that going the MKMSZ sprite route is a guaranteed road to failure - like the bastardized MK4/MKM Reptile/Shinnok fakes you made a while ago.

The arena is nothing new aside from the fact it does not borrow from Google images. The clouds at the top look terrible because the "pattern" is repeated over and over again. The lightning looks out of place too.

I love the special effects you added to the standard energy/plasma shit from Quan Chi. It's like a mix of his MK4 skull and Tsung's flaming skull. Again, love it.

Overall you did a good job... but Quan Chi is the eye-sore of the fake.

It's exciting and motivating to see you making fakes again. I hope everyone jumps on the bandwagon that you're apparently steering.

I like the Fujin sprite. Good shit, but the overall color scheme is kind of bland imo.

Hi-Def

Looks like a screen cap.

More like Fujin is doing his flying knee attack from MK4...
