The tear should be redone. It looks more like a scar. Maybe if you show it pooling up at the bottom of her jaw bone with a small trale, it might look better. Other then that, it's cool.

I have always loved the Sonya and Johnny Cage romance, even though its not well developed in the games (just mere hints), I think the comics and movies really made it the way it should be: Sad and deep when Johnny Cage died, but hilarious and cute when he was alive by her side. Great pic...but like everyone else said the tear looks like a scar and it would look great colored.

Since its drawn, why not color it by hand as well rather than use photoshop of any other art program? Sometimes hand colored/painted pics looks better in a classic sense anyway.

Thank you! Im glad you liked it Lady. As for coloring, I really dont like to color with pencils, Im not that good, besides, I actually like art pics when they are in black/white more then colored for some reason, maybe its because Im not good coloring, maybe because I just like the feel.

This...is one of the worst drawings I have ever had the disdain of viewing. The proportions of Sonya's head and body are all out of whack, and I honestly had no clue whatsoever that that dribbly string was intended to be a tear until I read someone else's response.

Johnny Cage looks fine, as far as I can tell, but dude, what in Hell coerced you into making Sonya's head so fucking big? And her forehead sticks out abnormally far, and the indention between the connection of the bridge of her nose and her forehead is abnormally deep.

I am just completely dumbfounded by the ratings this thing has received. It's a mess. Why are Sonya's legs at such a weird angle? Where's her hand? Why is there a rose floating in front of her face? This, my friend, is one ugly drawing. I'd hand you a little advice, but all I can say at this point is check out some anatomical images, specifically on the head. =/

The flower is a metaphoric symbol, try to understand what it means by first reading the main comment of the pic. As for the legs, you are quite right, I noticed that the dress looked odd the moment I actually saw it submitted, a weird angle there, I can fix it, same with the tear. Also, if you read my comment on the pic you will know where her hand is.

As for the rest, thanks for the comments, you are right, I can fix a lot and I can improve, though my drawings are definitely not ment to look 100% human-realistic, so I really don’t see her forehead or nose bridge exaggerated in anyway. It would be like criticizing anime pics for looking completely unrealistic, my drawings go that way, not ment to look 100% realistic in human proportions, but not unrealistic at the same time.

Thanks man! Im really glad you liked it. I really wanted to make Cages supposed “deathâ€? significant. Even though we know he officially never died, I hated how it seemed insignificant during Mk3, and how little his friends reacted both in game and the MKA movie (except Sonya of course).
