I'm glad this fake has more to and than copy and paste..

Things I like:
The fact you went out of your way to make a custom sprite for scorpion.
The reflection in the water
The custom background
The new life bars and run meter
The use of Scorpion's spear
Good use of MK's true blood


Things that need work:

1. The way your background is proportioned. If that's supposed to be a lake/river of a considerable size, then the palace tower is WAAAY to huge to if it's behind those mini mountains.

2. The spotlight effect you gave the picture with those shadded corners

3. The design of scorpion's new outfit. The pattern in the yellow is so repetitive. WTF is going on his chest?

4. The font used for the timer.

Some peole might bitch about shadows, but I could care less about those. I give it a 3/5

Raiden looks good,scorpion looks weird,nice bg concept tho not the best by any means but your gettin there. 3/5

thanks ppl for ur honesty to exstremest's points the water is just a sort of pong and the mini mountains are just ment to b little rocks like a sort of verge, that thing in his chest is part of the clothing lol

i wanted to do a raiden sprite edit also but with his atire from mk2 i didnt really want to ruin the way raiden looks thats why i kept it the same and just had scorpion hack him up lol

i think the spot light idea came from instead of the whole screen gonig dark for the fatality i thought it wud be gd if just the sides went fdark so it focused on the action and of course i wanted everyone to be able to see the bg that i had created.
