Help wth anim8or and MK backgrounds

I have a 3d engine called anim8or, and I don't know how to get different matereal(Colors and textures), I have a good Idea for the acid pool with a tourch in the middle, see:


its missing acid, color, and flame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, So I need some-one,who has anim8or, to type out what to do to get the textures, and color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Pleez help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I would love to help, but I've never used the program before. I'm pretty interested in it though. Is it free?

Yes it is free, go to http://www.anim8or.com and click download (in box on left) and follow download instructions!!!
First, you need to click the four dots on the top toolbar. Then, double click on 'New'. Next, you need to click on 'Textures' button. After that, the '...' button beside the first option. Click 'load texture' and load your texture. Next, select it for the ambience and diffuse options. As an extra touch, You might want to add a bit of bumpmapping (also an option- i think.) Then, click on the object (or face) you want to apply the texture to, and click 'apply'. Voila! if you need any more help, PM me.
