You want to go to the first main fan art submission page... (on top) and then click on the button that says submit... Then follow the steps on screen

it says this is not a jpg.what does this mean?

You cannot submit something to this site unless its in .jpg form. It means your file is in some other image type, do you know how to just post an image without submitting it?

I wouldn't recommend posting an image without submitting, because when you submit it there's the whole rating system thing, which is better (somebody knows what I'm hitting at...)

The fan art submissions have to be in jpeg format, and under 350kb.

There are simple ways in which you can do this:

If you have paint, you can save it as a jpeg from the file select box, but it has been known to have problems with it, so it's recommended you use something better:

I recommend either PSP or PS (of course ), you can save the file as a jpeg in the save dialog box, where it says:

Save as Type: And here there's a dropdown box, select JPEG. Then try uploading it, and hopefully it should work (providing the filesize isn't too big).

so i can still do it if its size is 950kb or something?and it says bitmap or something and tell me how to turn it into jpeg please!

Just go to "Save As" and choose jpeg, and that should convert it. And if its not to big, you can upload it, if its still too big... just post the image without submitting it. Of course, for that you would need a host site.

No, no, no. Umm... ok. If you are using Paint, go to the second drop down arrow (the one that says "Save as type". And then choose JPEG. You can name it whatever you'd like.

Ok, this should be what you are doing:

Go to File
Choose "Save As"
Choose the bottom-most dropdown arrow, and choose JPEG.

Thats it, simple.

Ok....
That's odd.
The only thing I can think of if you can't see those four, is if there's a scrollbar? Can you scroll past those four?
In other words, are there more options in the list that you have to scroll down to, check to see if there's a scroll bar.

If not, then I suggest you try another graphics program:
Microsoft Photo Editor can do it.
Varous others can as well. Just try another graphics program, and use the same method as in that diagram I posted.

Well, it appears to me that you are not ''saving as'', because if you do save as you'll get to save it as Jpg. Now, if you do COPY TO, it'll only let you save as a bitmap file.

ok so im at the pic that i made,so then i click file save as and then that aroww thing but it only says bitamp...
