I need suggestions for this page please...
As some of you are already aware, I am trying to create a Mk comic book. I am trying to create a really cool fighting scene between two characters, who have never been in the MK series before, and I need some help.
I know I need to work on her lower torso, I'm aware that she's not in the right pose quite yet. But I am also having some trouble figuring out a decent background to put these two in front of. I don't want it to be a too detailed picture, but enough where the main focus is them. So I'm not sure if I should have that little comicy explosion they always show during action scenes or not.
I need some advice... And no, I am not coloring this completely. The only color that will be shown is red. It is supposed to be a black/white/red colored comic.

It's a shame no one has commented on this.
Personally I kinda see a hallway to go with the picture.
Btw it looks great so far!!

If it's a comic you're working on, you want the focus to be on the action in the scene, which in this case would be the fight so I would suggest a very simplistic background. Too many details will detract from what's going on. The bare bones of a scene around them should suffice. Nice drawing btw.

Exactly, the less details in the background, the more focus the foreground stuff gets focused.
The hallway would be as bland as any hallway can get.
For some reason I can't figure out how to word what I'm trying to say, so this picture will show how the hallway is supposed to look in structure, not details. It's mostly going to be "not" splattered with blood since the red obviously stands out way too much with these pictures. Wooden floors and a very bland wall.
Thanks for the feedback too!!!

I'd avoid the comicy explosion. That usually only works when the characters are moving. I'd say the hallway is a good idea.
