I didn't know Hero Machine let you get that in-depth with your characters, i.e the staff and the spinning wheel thing. It looks like Jade for sure. I guess the only real problem I have with it is the fact that it was made in Hero Machine, which cuts a lot of corners with getting the proportions right. I'm not going to crucify you for it or anything, but I think you should try drawing something on your one of these days. Once you get the hang of it, there's a lot more you can do than you could ever do on Hero Machine.

I totally understand, especially with the harsh way a lot of users on this community criticize amateur artists. I hope you do keep at the practicing though. The more you work at it, the more you improve, and maybe a little bit down the line you'll be ready to submit something.

There's always those like you who refuse to recognize that those same critics are the majority of the reason that this area of the site remains active. Some of those critics, myself included, are also making the effort to offer more advice than harsh criticism. You need to stop acting like some self-righteous savior of the untalented masses.

mwgrant, I suggest that you submit whatever hand-drawn artwork that you have so that we, the experienced artists of the community, can offer quality feedback and constructive criticism. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can promise you that I'll do whatever is in my power to help you along the path to respectability. Don't let the sanctimonious types, like johnny1up, discourage you by filling your head with falsified information.

Practice drawings are best to look at because there's always people that are friendly enough to gibe you feedback in how to improve. And believe me, I would totally love to critique it.

For these, however, I can't really critique, because anyone could make Mortal Kombat characters on that site and submit it. I mean there's really nothing original about this other than the colors that you chose to use for the outfits and possibly the weapons. Don't hesitate to show off what you can do. There are people out there that can hardly draw stick figures. If you can draw something, that's at least something.
