Beautiful!!! 10/10

I love the background! Its so epic, so beautiful and mysterious. You did a wonderful job with it, I actually wish the 2D and 3D mk games had this sort of backgrounds. You really have talent for fakes. This is definitely one of my top favorites.

You also did a great job with the Sonya and Baraka sprites, both look fantastic! I love the kiss of death idea too. Its my favorite fatality and the best thing about it is that it can be done in so many original ways. Your fatality is an example.

Thanks man! The background is just composed of multiple layers of different jungle pics and then spliced in with some MK props.

The background does look amazing, and sonya and baraka look very good too... they kinda remind me of killer instinct because of their look

The only thing that could be improved is the fire trail... I don't know iif photoshop has this like gimp... but if u used paths and then used the spark brush to trace it, it would look awsome

I like the ideas for the fatality and background.. the ideas only because the way you executed the ideas is horrible. Using screenshots from MKDA and MKD and using them for sprites, lazy. The background also screams "oh, please detail me more!!". If you are going to use a great bg idea for a fake, atleast execute it with some attention to the details and make an overall pleasing image to look at. Oh well, I know you won't even read this, so yeah I am done.

The spark brush sounds useful, I'll have to check it out. MkFatFan, you should check out a few photoshop tutorials (there's a few in the stickies) and keep practicing to gain valuable experience. I think that's the best way to learn and improve.

I dont understand why you call him lazy for using those sprites. Whats so bad about them? Everyone uses sprites for their fakes, and he actually did an excellent job cutting them to look that good. There is nothing lazy in using or making sprites, everyone does in case you haven’t noticed, others create their own, but the majority uses sprites.

Your post seemed too harsh IMO, I guess you have/had some problems with UltimateRyu, but that’s not my business.

Well, everyone has their own opinion. I personally thought the background was fantastic, I cant stop looking at those beautiful trees on the back, and the rest of the plants look very good to me, nothing horrible....at all.

UltimateRyu, could you tell me where you got those weird trees on the back? I would love to have a pic of those, they look amazing!

Awesome! I love the look, the background is ace, the MKDA MKD sprites are fantastic and well used. The effects look nice and it does give it a KI look. Great job!

Cut, Copy, Paste sprites or edited or made from scratch,... Some care BIG DEAL about those things & some just look at the picture as it is and like it or dislike it. I personally don't care about the methods used in a fake pic, simply because it is FAKE picture. Good for those you can make sprites and edit them from scrath, good for those who can make their own backgrounds from scrath aswell, yes they are better artists and props for that but what really matters is the result.

Ya i noticed that too right when i looked at it, that he used cut outs from screen shots for sprites. I dont really think its that lazy, maybe hes just not as good at really editing sprites, which can be pretty hard to do, it seems like only a select few can really do that. I still think the fake is pretty good, like sum1 else said the trail looks weird, and besides that not much more to say. I give it a 3/5

Also, people bashing me about not liking the way he did his fake, I don't care what you think. I think that editing sprites is a special artform which means I can defend it. Heh, the day that people respect actual skill I will be astonished.

No one's bashing your opinions, you have every right to say how you feel about this or any picture/fake, but there are ways of saying things.

It wouldnt hurt, kill or take away any braveness from you. The problem is not what you say, but how you say it.

Sometimes you just have to ignore MKR, he's like a washed out broken record.
