What happened to the Kreate-A-Kharacter Tournament? The seventh (and most recent) one was in 2012-2013, where Ekimaru defeated Eastwind. The only annual contest on this site has been the Supreme Mortal Kombat Champion Tournament. Like the SMKCT, the KAKT should not require the winner to receive a prize. However, the competitors may receive bragging rights and possibly notice their creations become influences for canon game characters (e.g., Eastwind might have inspired Erron Black). I actually had an original sub boss that I would have entered in 2013 (for KAKT8), but there have been no new contests.
