Part 1 of 2 of my Rain fatality series. Too over the top?

I really hate how you do fatalities in the air like that.
The effects are awesome, but Liu Kang's body is blurry as fuck.

The damn stage is too small to do anything cool! :P

What's that music in the background? I've been trying to find out with no luck.

It's pretty badass, but maybe you shouldn't rely on your special effects so much. Also, stop using putfile, it takes so fucking long to load.

Now there I disagree
I love the lightning effects, they're all cool - but I see your still using that screen "blur" thing whenever there's a huge hit in your ani's. I personally hate it but may just me me.
When Liu is shot up, perhaps the sprites used for an uppercut would be better, - it would explain then how he ended up in a flat position.
The way Rain shoots through his body, but there's almost no blood is *odd* to say the least, and what's even more odd is when the body parts hit the floor that they don't at least bounce
Coming back to disagreeing with the size of the stage, it would have been perfectly feasible to do this animation on the stage, given its size, in fact, I'd think it would look awesome, much much better.
When Rain shoots Liu - he would move like he's been uppercutted - Rain disapears and shoots through Liu as he is coming down - this allows for more blood work and a faster movement of, well, pretty much everything. I think that'd look better but anyway.
Nice ani, but I think there's just a few things I would look at again

Thanks for the feedback on these past 3 ani's Tim. I keep improving with each critique. Youre right that you prob can do this on one stage. I'd have to rework my lightning and get suitable sprites for the transition into a diagonal jolt though.
