Lioness - Original

I figured it'd be a while before I coloured her, so I'll just show you all the sketch to tide you all (read: my one fan) over. This is Lioness, the Twin of Siberian Tygress. The two are rivals at everything and... blah. Feel free to colour it if you dare.

Nice drawing. Awesome detail on her clothes and hands. Her face is kinda weird since her hair is covering it in a odd way. Also her eyes are a little dark. You could have done more detail on the face. Anyway, this is still a really great drawing. 3/5.

Sweet drawing. Your attention to the details on her is great. The outfit and body look good. I wish i could see more of her face though. Her hair is covering her up. I like the little studs on her gloves too. The only thing i see, and it's not really that big of deal anyways, is to draw the hair better so we can see her face. But that is the look im sure you were going for so good job at it. Everything else looks good even down to her boots. Good job 4/5

Cool drawing. I like her clothes. Her face is kind of simple but it's OK. I would like to see it colored.
4/5 Dragon Points.

Ok, first and foremost:
They're called BANGS, people. They're the the shorter sprigs of hair that come out at the edge of your hairline and hang in front of your forehead and, if you're one of those goths from the 80s, your eyes. If you have acne, or had chickenpox, you can easily hide the evidence on your forehead with these things. That's what their purpose is. That and fashion. Some people needs things "bangs," some people don't. Lioness here and has chosen to wear them. However I have made it so you can see her eyes through her hair.
Secondly, she's wearing a MASK. These are designed to cover all/some of one's face. Lioness dons a sash tied around the lower half of her head, covering her muzzle. Since one can't see anything below her cheekbones, I really don't get how I could have put more "detail" into her face. I can't draw colour, so what makeup she is wearing you can't tell until I CG it.
Thirdly, You guys do know what eyeliner is, yes? K, since she's all depressy goth and likes cutting up her wrists, she cakes the black on. Hence the "dark".
You can see the face. The hair is translucent. She has eyebrows, you see those, yes? She has eyes, you see those, yes? Forehead? Cheeks? Nose line? Ok, what's her hair masking over? I'm confused, since there isn't much for to a face.

Thanks, I was a little short-handed one what costume design to give her, since lions don't really have a pattern. I'm glad it worked out. :)
sub-zeromasta:
Yeah, a classmate of mine had boots like that and I thought they were just spiffy, so on they went. ^_^V I'm proud of her studs, too. :D Thanks for your thoughts.
RedScorpio:
It will be coloured. Hopefully before July. I'd like to print it out and sell it. ^_^ Thanks for your interest. :)

I don't think I've ever seen one of your line drawings Spoon. It's interesting seeing how you set up the hair. Nice big stompin boots. Overall a very good foundation.
May I suggest one thing. The little medallion hanging from her neck. I don't know what you were going for but that really resembles the Nazi storm trooper emblem. SA Flag
Now would be the time to change that since it is still penciled. Just an FYI
Looking good so far.

Heh, yeah, my lineworks aren't usually much to see. But I knew I wouldn't colour her for a long while. :| Here's a better example of my linework XD Guess which coloured one it is!
It's all lines. I'll probably erase most of the superfluous hair when I airbrush it in later. That way the ends can stay translucent.
The medallion was intentional. She's German by origin, and the runes she wears have a backstory: Her brother gave them to her when he left home, and he had engraved on the back, "Für Schwester, Liebe Brüder." They are the same runes as the flag, however there are no homicidal tendencies with either party.
And for the record, I don't ever ink. It'll always remain pencil. It's 2H, so it isn't like it'll smudge the day after. ^_^
Thanks for your thoughts :)
