I drew another manga MK pic, this time of Mavado. As you can see in the picture, I based Mavado's look on his alternate costume in MKDA and the rumor that went around a couple months ago about him being a vampire. The wings aren't part of him biologically. They are just man-made wings attached to his armor. Their mechanical nature allows Mavado to control which direction they flap in, the speed at which they flap, and the altitude if he wishes to fly. He uses the wings to soar over Lin Kuei HQ, observing their ways and battle regimen. The wings are used in conjunction with his Dragon Tongue Escape. As he pulls himself back with the ropes, the wings flap to propel himself away from the opponent, maximizing the effectiveness of the escape. Here's the link:
