Mortal Kombat The One | First Look & Trailer |
Hello folks,
been a while since I posted, been busy not only working on this film but working to pay it off and pay for reshoots. Anyways, here is a first look into our fan production Mortal Kombat: The One.
Our included scene introduces a young Liu Kang and Kai as they reminisce on their past at the Shaolin Temple. Master Yongxin (who will be explained more in our story) remains close with Liu despite him opting to live a normal life outside of the Temple.

Our official cast and character list can be seen on our new IndieGoGo page here!
http://igg.me/at/finishthesearch/x
Characters mentioned but not included:
Smoke
Cyrax
Sektor
Original Sub-Zero (Bi-Han)
Hope you guys enjoyed it. If so, please consider donating!!!
These funds help us fund our reshoots and could let us get AN NYPD SQUAD CAR for Kabal and Stryker
Thanks a lot,
Anthony Pellino

I am very excited, but I have to be honest; the camera positions for these scenes are not that great. The audio/dialogue in the beginning was so frickin hard to understand. I think better equipment (like those far-reaching microphones so you can layer the audio and enhance what needs enhancing) and re-shooting some of those action sequences would help. You should look into lens filters too so it doesn't look like these were shot with a walmart video recorder.
Thanks for the feedback!
This was shot RED Epic with master prime lenses, same set up as HBO on GoT.
We plan on replacing the dialogue through ADR and foley. We also already have the reshoots for the final third of the film planned.
A lot of work ahead for this, especially for our Shao Kahn cameo. Glad you are interested!!

Sounds good!
Only a cameo for Kahn? Hope it's more than 10 seconds

That was a pretty cool trailer, man. The first look though, I gotta be honest. I don't really know what they were saying. The cars in the background were pretty loud and I missed most of the dialogue. The trailer though was looking pretty nice. I liked it.
Can't wait to see more.
