A bit rough looking, and I'm not quite sure what Sub-Zero's role in the situation is, but it's nice enough. I always like it when people throw in little details like the fighters on the second bridge.
Not sure about placement. For the sake of depth you'd probably get as much out of offsetting the background fighters on the right, without being so distracting.

Definitely an interesting fad going on, though.

The one thing I do not like about this fake, is that I cannot tell what Scorpion is doing to the back of Shao Kahn. Other than that, it is a very good fake.

The biggest distraction for me in this picture is the use of pixel resizes for making things smaller and rotation. Looks tacky. Sure, if you used a blended resize it would make it blurry, but that's nothing a sharpen or some 2 minute editing cannot fix.

Overall, a resounding "meh" from me, chief.
