I would love for you to enlighten me on any other way to do it? what other methods are there, if there were more than i would probably be using those, i just dont know of them.

try some editing or modifying sprites or backgrounds.

Well, it's all basically "copy and paste", no matter what. The trick is to take it a bit further than that. Edit the sprites, edit the effects etc. For instance, instead of just taking a sprite and plopping it down on a background, try chopping bits off of it and adding bits on. Instead of just taking a normal blood spray and pasting it on the victim, zoom in and edit the pixels on the sprite so it looks more realistic. Stuff like that. You're still copying and pasting, but there's another dimension to it.
